ST LUCIA NATIONAL SENIOR TEAM SHOWS TENACITY IN TRINIDAD AT THE BILLIE JEAN KING CUP COMPETITION

Saint Lucia's senior team has had a mixed performance so far in their first-ever appearance in this prestigious international competition in Trinidad. Out of the three ties played, the team has secured one victory.

The tournament began with a close but tough tie against El Salvador, where Saint Lucia was defeated 3-0. The team then faced another strong contender, Costa Rica, and despite their efforts, they were also defeated 3-0.

However, yesterday, the Saint Lucian team bounced back with an impressive 3-0 victory against Bermuda. Jessica Eudovic set the tone by winning the first singles match in a grueling three-set battle. Megan William-Dixon followed up with a strong performance, winning the second singles match in straight sets. The duo of Jessica Eudovic and Iyana Paul then secured the win by taking the doubles match in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1.
