ST LUCIA TO BE REPRESNTED AT UTR TOURNAMENT IN TTO

A huge contingent of junior tennis athletes departed our shores today to represent St. Lucia at the RBC Junior Invitational UTR Tennis Tournament in Trinidad & Tobago. The tournament is scheduled from the 10th-15th December at the Nelson Mandela Courts in Port of Spain. 

There are eight athletes registered to compete in the U10 category namely; Immanuel Charles & Jelani Flermius both students of the Gros-Islet Primary, Samuella Bertrand and Merkisha Justin students of the Balata Combined School, Daniel Collymore student of The Montessori Centre,  Nefertari Goddard and Armani Rosemond students of the Dame Pearlette Louisy School and Kimari Felix student of the R.C. Boys Primary. 

There are six athletes In the U12 category representing St Lucia namely; Sanjay Lake student of the Gordon Walcott Memorial School, Alhil Cyril and Denney Estava both students of the Leon Hess Comprehensive, Amia Jn Marie student of the Babonneau Secondary, Aayush Sharma student of The Montessori Centre and Jaelyn Henry student of the St Joseph's Convent. 

Registered to compete in the U14 category from the Castries Comprehensive Secondary School Nathanael Charles, McCarvy Cyril student of the Leon Hess Comprehensive Secondary, Brianna Jn Baptiste and Annakie Arlette both students of the St Joseph's Convent. 

Iyana Paul student of the Leon Hess Comprehensive and Latoya Murray student of the Babonneau Secondary will be vying for the U16 championship. Leading the team to Trinidad is Team Manager Ms. Shernell Lionel,  Head Coach Scyla Murray and Coach Thaddeus Emile and Chaperones Mr. Randolph Rosemond, Ms. Catherine Morille and Ms. Phillisia Joseph.
