Another electrifying day unfolded at the National Independence Tennis Tournament, where young talents and seasoned players battled fiercely for a spot in the finals. The competition kicked off with the Green Ball category, setting the tone for an action-packed day on the courts.

Kimari Felix dominated his match against Sheila-Marie Leon, securing victory in straight sets, 4-0, 4-0. Joshua Harte followed up with an impressive performance, edging past Jenius Francois in a thrilling three-set battle (0-4, 4-0, 10-6) to claim his silver medal.

In the Boys Under-12 Semi-Finals, Riley Smith proved unstoppable, shutting down Kabir Garg with a commanding 4-0, 4-0 win to book his place in the final. Joining him will be Kimari Felix, who delivered another stellar performance, defeating Jelani Flermius 4-2, 4-0.

The Girls Under-14 division witnessed a gripping showdown as Merkisha Justin took on Joelle Habib. Justin's relentless aggression paid off as she sealed her victory in three sets, 4-0, 4-1.

Meanwhile, in the Boys Under-14 Semi-Finals, Immanuel Charles displayed exceptional skill, outplaying Kyle Michel-Francois 6-1, 6-3 to punch his ticket to the final. The second semi-final featured one of the tournament's standout performers, Denney Estava, who faced off against the rapidly improving Taeo Lewis. Despite Lewis' resilience, Estava proved too strong, securing a 6-3, 6-1 victory and his well-earned spot in the final.

The Girls Under-19 division brought more drama as Ezabela Charles faced Karina Lambert in a hard-fought battle, emerging victorious with a 6-4 win.

The men's division also saw thrilling action. Tennis veteran Vernon Lewis clashed with his own student, Alhil Cyril, in a Semi-Final encounter that showcased both experience and raw talent. Lewis displayed his mastery, securing a 6-1, 6-0 win. The other men's Semi-Final delivered high drama as Peterson George staged a stunning comeback against Ronaldo St Juste. After dropping the first set 5-7, George roared back with back-to-back dominant sets, winning 6-0, 6-0.

Doubles action did not disappoint either! In the Boys Under-14 category, Tahj Goodman and Denney Estava delivered a commanding performance against the Rosemond Brothers, Aiden and Armani, clinching victory in three sets (2-4, 4-0, 10-2). The Men's Open Doubles saw Anthony Habib and David Cooper overpower Ricardo Francois and Justin Wills with a commanding 6-1, 6-0 win.
