On behalf of the St Lucia Tennis Association, we acknowledge the Davis Cup Team's return home with a 9th place finish in the recent tournament. We recognize and appreciate the effort and dedication shown by each team member throughout the competition.

The NLA Junior International Tennis Tournament serves off today, Monday 29th July and we're thrilled to announce that four Saint Lucian athletes will compete in the main draw. Representing us in the girls' singles are Iyana Paul and Anaiah Bousquet. In the boys' singles, we have Ahlil Cyril and David Melville.

The St. Lucia Tennis Association recognizes the importance of revitalizing tennis within our nation and providing opportunities for both junior and senior athletes to excel on the international stage. Returning champion Alhil Cyril was able to retain his title as the Boys U16 champion. Samuella Bertrand also retained her girls U12 champion title.

The National Independence Tennis Tournament served off on Friday with exciting first round matches from the boys and girls 10 and 12 & under. The round robin matches were played over Friday and Saturday where we saw athletes advancing to the main draw.


Dean White, a dedicated tennis coach, left an indelible mark on the tennis community, serving it with passion and commitment for over two decades. His recent passing has left a void in the hearts of those who knew him and in the broader tennis fraternity.
